Distance training for teachers of French as a foreign language (FFL)

urlDAEFLE (Diplôme d’Aptitude à l’Enseignement du Français Langue Etrangère) is the result of a partnership between Alliance Française of Paris Ile-de-France (AFPIF) and the National Center for Distance Studies (CNED).

The training consists of several modules and can be complete from 10 months to 2 or 3 years.

Admission test and final test, can be taken directly at the Alliance Française of Taiwan.

If you wish to attend the training, please follow the instructions below:

 

1. Admission test

You can apply for the test at the Alliance Française of Taiwan.

  • To apply, please follow the instructions below and return the documents to the Taipei or Kaohsiung centers:
    • Fill in the application form
    • Provide a copy of passport or identity card
    • Provide a copy of high school diploma
    • Pay the examination fees at the Alliance Française of Taiwan

 

2. Training

Test results will be sent to the applicants within 2 to 3 weeks following the test.
If the result is positive, candidates can apply for the training at the CNED (National Center for Distance Studies) via Internet.

The training is a course of 480 hours which includes 6 modules.

 

  • Option 1 : Complete preparation within 10 months (or during 2, 3 or 4 years)

  • 5 mandatory modules :
    • Éléments de didactique et méthodologie générale du FLE (120 hours)
    • Phonétique et méthodologie de la prononciation (120 hours)
    • Enseigner la grammaire en FLE (60 hours)
    • L’évaluation en FLE (60 hours)
    • Observation et guidage de classe (60 hours)

 

  • 1 optional module to choose from the following :
    • Méthodologie de l’enseignement de la civilisation et de la littérature (60 hours)
    • Enseigner le français sur objectif spécifique (60 hours)
    • Le FLE aux enfants (disponible à partir de juillet 2009) (60 hours)
    • Les technologies de l’information et de la communication en classe de langue (60 hours)

 

  • Option 2 : Modules preparation

    You can choose to complete one or several modules, without attempting to apply for the diploma, in order to acquire a specific knowledge.
    A certificate of attendance will be given for each validated module.

 

3. Final exam

Once you complete all modules of the training, you can apply for the final exam at the Taipei or Kaohsiung center of the Alliance Française of Taiwan.

  • To apply, please follow the instructions below:
    • Fill in the application form
    • Provide a copy of passport or identity card
    • Provide a copy of all certificates obtained during the training (corresponding to the 6 modules)
    • Pay the examination fees at the Alliance Française of Taiwan

 

4. Diploma

The Alliance Française of Taiwan will send the results within 8 weeks following the examination date. Applicants will be contacted when their diploma has arrived.

    • Epreuve “repérage et correction linguistique”
  • Final examination:

    • Epreuve transversale 1
    • Epreuve transversale 2
    • Epreuve Option FOS
    • Epreuve Option TIC
    • Epreuve Option civilisation et littérature
    • Epreuve Option enseigner le FLE aux enfants
