Alliance Française de Taiwan was established in Taipei in 1984.
We are located in Taipei and in Kaohsiung.
Alliance Française de Taiwan is a member of the Alliance Française network founded in Paris in 1883 and now established in 135 countries. Non government organizations and non for profit local associations, The 815 Alliances Françaises aim to promote worldwide French language and dialogue between cultures.
All year long, we propose French language tuitions to adults & teenagers with an experienced team of Teachers. Our pedagogy emphasizes task-based learning with active student participation.
We also organize regular cultural activities, both in Taipei and Kaohsiung: conferences, concerts, exhibitions, wine and cheese courses, cineclub,…

This is one of the leading French teaching institutions in Taipei. More importantly, there is a library full of French books and magazines. If you love French culture and language, you mustn’t miss here.
If you wish to study French, this is one of the better options in Taipei. The reception area looks professional. There are magazines and books to view at your leisure. The staff was very helpful and took the time to explain the refund policy, the textbook, and courses. During my assessment, I spoke to Bruno. He was very kind and was quickly able to assess my level. The assessment takes about an hour – reading comprehension, grammar, writing, listening, and speaking.
